Green Partners has entered into an informal relationship with Polk State Corporate College to offer non-credit hour educational courses on environmentally sensitive subjects related to area businesses. Course curriculum is being developed on the following: General Environmental Session—Hazardous Waste Laws Hazardous Waste Laws for the Automotive & Repair Industry Refuse, Recycle, Reuse Session Sustainable Business Practices Lead-based Paints Alternative Energy Sources and Energy Conservation

Green Partners is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting an environmentally “green” concept for businesses who are committed to protecting the environment. We educate businesses on ways to be environmentally friendly through classes, on-site inspections and mentorship. We can also provide an evaluation for member businesses to help comply with federal, state and local environmental laws, ultimately leading to being granted a Green Partners Seal. |

Green Partners is structured as a 501(c)(3) non-profit with all contributions to Green Partners being fully tax deductible. All members are volunteers with no paid staff. Current board members are leading environmental experts within the community representing engineering, infrastructure, laboratory, treatment, industry, and government sectors. |
